Spring of 2023 Grant Request

The Fort Dodge Community School Foundation approved $13,000 of Grant Requests for the Fort Dodge Community School District. Highlighting the Grant Requests was a request for $8,400 for Stider bike program at the Early Childhood Center. The bikes will be used to teach Kindergarten students how to ride a bike. "We ae so thankful for the Foundation and their support, this will make an impact on all ECC students and help them learn a lifelong skill." Jon Koenig PE teacher at the ECC.

Fall of 2023 Grant Request

Fort Dodge Community School Foundation awarded $139,920 to the Fort Dodge Community School District in December of 2023. Teachers submitted grants to the Foundation Board, the Board awarded nearly $140,000 to the school district. Highlighting the requests was a $116,000 request for an Anatomage Table at FDSH. The table will be one of 3 tables of it's kind in Iowa High Schools.
